John Galliano introduced the Saddle at Dior in 1999 and the fashion world hasn't stopped talking about it since. This is the small size from the original Galliano-era collection — not a reissue, not a Mini — in rich chocolate brown leather with the signature asymmetric silhouette and CD hardware that made it one of the most copied shapes in handbag history. The piece that started it all, in one of the most wearable colourways. Demand for original Galliano-era Saddles has climbed over 300% since 2020 and excellent examples are becoming increasingly rare.

Fair — Worn with life. Noticeable scuffs, tarnished hardware or surface marks. For the collector who appreciates a piece with a past, or wants a restoration project.
