Marc Jacobs brought denim into Louis Vuitton in the mid-2000s and the Pleaty was one of the standout results — the LV monogram printed directly onto soft blue denim, a push-lock gold clasp, structured vachetta leather handles. It's a bag that only makes sense in the context of that era: the moment when luxury stopped being serious about itself and started being playful. The Pleaty is genuinely rare now. Denim Vuitton from this period doesn't come up often, and collectors who missed it the first time are actively looking.
