The Drill was one of Karl Lagerfeld's most distinctive seasonal interpretations of the 2.55, the classic flap silhouette reimagined in metallic gold perforated calfskin, the leather punched through with thousands of tiny holes that catch and release light as the bag moves. The accordion sides expand the silhouette beyond what a standard flap can carry, the Mademoiselle turn-lock sits front and centre, and the silver chainlink strap runs double for shoulder or single for crossbody. It's a Chanel that doesn't whisper. Produced in 2008-2009 and long discontinued, these come up rarely and almost never in this condition.

Condition

Very Good / Excellent — showing little to no signs of wear.

What to know: light rub marks to the bottom corners consistent with careful use. Gold perforated calfskin and hardware fully intact throughout. Silver crepe satin interior clean and pristine.
