The First was Balenciaga's original motorcycle bag — smaller than the City, more compact, more considered. This one is in light blush pink with the classic aged brass hardware, braided leather handles, the signature front zip pocket and leather tassels. Pink is one of the most coveted colourways in the First configuration — it ages in a way that darker colours simply don't, the leather developing a softness and depth that makes a well-loved First more beautiful than a new one. Balenciaga lambskin genuinely improves with age. This one is proof.

What to know: light rubbing to the handles consistent with careful use. Some light staining to the interior lining. Mirror, all original tassels and detachable shoulder strap all intact and in excellent condition throughout.

Very Good — Gently used. Light wear on straps, corners or interior only. Any imperfections are minor and clearly described. The sweet spot of vintage.

Good — Visibly loved. Character through fading, light scratches or small marks — all while remaining fully functional. Priced honestly to reflect condition.

Fair — Worn with life. Noticeable scuffs, tarnished hardware or surface marks. For the collector who appreciates a piece with a past, or wants a restoration project.
