The Jackie has one of the longest lineages in luxury, named after Jackie Kennedy, carried by her throughout the 1970s, revived by Tom Ford in the 90s, and reimagined again by Frida Giannini in 2009 as the New Jackie. 2010 was the first year Gucci issued the Jackie in python leather, which makes this piece exactly that: one of the earliest and rarest iterations of the New Jackie in exotic skin. Full python in warm tobacco and mocha tones, bamboo-tipped leather tassels, whipstitch trim on the handle, gold hardware. It's a large bag with serious presence. The kind of piece that serious collectors recognise immediately.

Condition

Very Good — gently used, with wear consistent with age.

What to know: a few small water marks on the underside of the detachable crossbody strap — not visible when worn. Exterior python, hardware and tassels all in excellent condition throughout.

Good — Visibly loved. Character through fading, light scratches or small marks — all while remaining fully functional. Priced honestly to reflect condition.

Fair — Worn with life. Noticeable scuffs, tarnished hardware or surface marks. For the collector who appreciates a piece with a past, or wants a restoration project.
