The Pleaty is one of the great underrated moments of the Marc Jacobs era at Louis Vuitton, a softly pleated denim monogram silhouette that felt completely of its time and somehow still does. The blue vernis closure hardware catches the light in that specific early 2000s way, coloured lacquer on gold, deliberately playful, deliberately considered. Yellow topstitching along the flap. Vachetta leather strap that has barely been touched. This one has hardly been used and it shows, the protective film is still on the hardware.
