The gold Fendi Baguette has one of the most specific cultural references of any bag in the archive. In Season 3 of Sex and the City, Samantha Jones buys a $150 gold Baguette dupe out of the back of a man's trunk in LA, then spends the rest of the episode carrying it to the Playboy Mansion, accusing a Bunny of stealing it, and getting the entire group kicked out of the party. The joke, of course, was that she wanted the real thing. This is the real thing. Gold lambskin leather, baguette-cut crystal FF buckle, made in Italy: the kind of bag that only makes sense if you understand exactly what it references.
Condition
Good: The gold lambskin has the kind of soft patina that comes with age, worn, not tired.
What to know: Crystal buckle fully intact. Three superficial cuts to the strap and some general rubbing to the exterior leather, all consistent with careful use over time.
